Happy New Year!!

Emergency Evacuation Drills

For the month of January, we will be actively practicing our emergency evacuation drills. We ask for your cooperation and patience should you show up during the practice runs. Because of these drills (and in the case of a real emergency), all participants must be in footwear at all times. Children are encouraged to have indoor shoes for the Club. Shoes can be left here throughout the week on our shoe rack.

STEAM Ahead Club

We are excited to announce that Thursday, January 18th will be the first day of our STEAM Ahead program! STEAM Ahead is a National Boys & Girls Club program that is offered with the generous support of Fidelity Investments. Mixing visual, auditory, and hands-on activities to engage different learning styles, STEAM Ahead encourages children to explore STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fundamentals and includes an artistic (A) component to encourage creativity and innovation.

Lost & Found/Labeling Items

Our Lost and Found is getting quite full!! Please be sure to take a look and see if any of the items belong to your family. We do ask that you please label belongings, so we can return them to you and so there are not any mix ups. With winter season comes a lot of black snow pants and black mitts, please label them and be sure to check as you grab them that they are the correct ones.

• Please call the Club at 705-526-6159 if your child will not be attending the After-School Program.
• With Winter in full swing, we also wanted to take this time to remind you that on Snow Days/Bus Cancellations Days we are CLOSED. Reminder: we are in the NORTH Zone.

Don’t Forget to Follow Us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for lots of updates
and to see what we do each day!!!
